Wichita Council of Engineering Societies (WCES) Banquet
Each year during Engineer's Week the Wichita Council of Engineering Societies hosts a banquet for all the societies. The banquet consists of a social, Engineering Mini-Fair, dinner, award ceremony, and presentation.

Hot Chocolate Social with WSU Student Section
This event will be a low-key networking night to socialize between the WSU Student Section and the Wichita Professional Section.

WE23 Annual Conference
WE23, a three-day flagship event by the Society of Women Engineers, invites attendees to Live Without Limits while engaging in networking, gaining career insights, and connecting with industry leaders on innovation. Participants can attend interactive workshops on leadership and engineering subjects, cultivating relationships and empowering women.

Drone Light Festival at Exploration Place
Wichita’s drone light show returns as a festival to Exploration Place on September 21-23, 2023!
The festival will provide breathtaking views of 300 synchronized drones (100 more than last year!), fully choreographed with music. We are planning some exciting enhancements to the experience, including new custom drone formations, thousands of floating water lanterns that you get to launch yourself, a concert lit by more than 2,000 candles and projections on the Exploration Place building.
SWE Retiree Lunch
The Wichita SWE Retiree group meets monthly for an in-person lunch. Our September luncheon will be at Prost.
