This FREE event features hands-on activities for kids in grades K-8 to learn how engineering relates to the world around us. It is presented by the Wichita section of the Society of Women Engineers in partnership with the WSU College of Engineering.

Where: Spirit AeroSystems HR Service Center What's Expo?Every February since 1998, the Society of Women Engineers Wichita Section and the WSU College of Engineering have put on an Engineering Expo to show kids grades K-8 how cool engineering can be! Expo features fun hands-on activities at various booths. You can stop in any time and try something, and go to whatever booths you're interested in. It runs for several hours but you can drop in any time. There is no registration or cost involved. Expo is free for kids and parents! Parents should stay with children throughout the activities. Many booths have items that kids make and bring home with them. Expo is a celebration of Engineers Week! Learn more about Engineers Week and engineering at eweek.org. There's a little bit of everything at Expo! We feature new booths every year, and new ways of setting up existing booths too. So if you've been before, keep coming back! The purpose of expo is to teach kids about the different fields of engineering. Previous booths have included:
